Is this bleach?
No. Viora is a purple colour corrector. It works optically, on the surface of the tooth, by counteracting yellow tones — the same principle as purple shampoo on blonde hair. It does not change the natural colour of your teeth the way a bleaching treatment does.
How long does the effect last?
The effect is temporary and will fade with eating, drinking and brushing. Most people treat it as an ongoing routine or use it before occasions where they want their smile to look its brightest, rather than as a one-off treatment. Individual results vary.
What kind of staining does it help with?
Colour correction works on the visible surface of the tooth, so it is best suited to everyday staining from things like coffee, tea and red wine, and to teeth with a general yellow cast.
It cannot address discolouration that sits inside the tooth, and it will not change the colour of veneers, crowns or composite bonding.
